The Pediatric Cardiology Society of Bangladesh (PCSB) established in 2000 to the aim of institutionalize & spread the research, treatment of pediatric cardiology in Bangladesh. We have grown into one of the prominent societies for pediatric cardiology leading academic activities across the country and share it to the people. The Vision of the society is to be one the prominent societies for Pediatric Cardiology in the world
. Academic conferences are prime opportunities for updating knowledge and exchanging views and opinions on critical issues facing a professional discipline. Building professional fraternity, working relationship and
research collaboration are other important goals. With these vital objectives in mind, the schedule of the 4th international Conference of Pediatric Cardiac Society 2024 has been announced. Pediatric Cadiology in Bangladesh used to be less known as a distinct specialty until recently. But things are changing and today it is much better known among the medical professionals as well as the common people of the country. The 4th International Conference of Pediatric Cardiac Society is taking place at a time when this scciety is rapidly growing not only in size but also in vigor and professional enthusiasm! We have reached out to professional societies of allied specialties such as Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, cardiac surgery, etc with a view to offer our participants a comprehensive perspective of issues we deal with. On the top of that we have a fairly big team of internationally reputed experts in the field of Pediatric Cardiologists and allied specialties from home and abroad. Participants should take advantage of this premier forum to engage themselves with their professional peers and benefit from each other.

I hope this incredible opportunity to learn and share from some of our faculty’s think tank. The coordinators responsible for putting this event together have outdone themselves. As president of our organization, I extend my sincerest gratitude to the crew for investing their energy and creativity to provide a top-notch event for us to enjoy.

The two day-long event is going to be held at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Convention Hall, Minto Road, Dhaka which in recent times has been one of the most sought-after venues for scientific programs. Dhaka, the sprawling Bangladesh capital doesn’t need any introduction except probably the fact that it is witnessing a major infrastructural transformation. Participants from outside the city will certainly love the silk-smooth transit from Dhaka airport through the newly commissioned elevated expressway and a ride in the brand new Dhaka Metro.

As convener, I take this opportunity to invite you to participate in this academic event and contribute to its success. I thank each and every member of Pediatric Cardiac Society of Bangladesh, the executive committee and organizing committee of the conference for their commitment and hard work.
